A UTS inspector goes to your factory in China and checks the order before it ships — the logo print, the products themselves, the packing. Sampling follows the international AQL standard. You get a report full of photos within 24 hours.

Most orders look fine in the factory's photos. The problems show up when the cartons open at your warehouse — or worse, at the event.
Bulk runs drift. Ink gets thinner, colors shift, and the logo on unit 4,000 is not the logo you approved.
A thinner fabric, a lighter bottle wall, a cheaper cable. It saves them money and costs you the reorder.
Forty items, twelve logo versions, three colors each. Assorted cartons are where mistakes hide.
A trade show or a client event does not wait for a re-run. A failed batch found on arrival is a total loss.
Every order is sampled to ANSI/ASQ Z1.4 AQL tables. Each defect is graded critical, major, or minor, so you get a clear pass, fail, or hold result — not a guess.
Position, size, and sharpness of every printed, embroidered, or engraved logo, checked against your approved artwork.
Logo and product colors checked against your Pantone references and the approved sample — under proper light, not by memory.
Mugs checked for glaze chips and handle strength, pens for writing and cap fit, bags for stitching and zippers, apparel for seams and sizing.
Dimensions, weight, and real capacity — drinkware volume, USB memory size — measured against your spec sheet.
Fabric weight, metal thickness, and plastic grade against the approved sample. The classic cost-cut swap gets caught here.
Rub and tape tests on prints, crocking on textiles, seam pull on bags, and carton drop tests on the packed goods.
Country of origin, care labels, age warnings, suffocation warnings on polybags, and barcode readability for your market.
SKU-by-SKU counts, logo versions, gift-set contents, inner packing, carton marks, and total quantity against your PO. How we classify defects
Promo orders rarely contain one product. Each type gets its own checks and its own defect list in the same visit.

USB drives, power banks, chargers — function, real capacity, and electrical safety tests on-site.

T-shirts, polos, caps — fabric weight, stitching, sizing, and color fastness to rubbing.

Mugs, bottles, openers, keychains — workmanship, real capacity, coating adhesion, drop tests.

Every logo, on every item type, checked against your Pantone references and approved artwork.
Promotional orders ship to events, clients, and campaigns on fixed dates. A failed batch gets no second run — the check has to happen at the factory, before the balance payment.
Pick the checkpoint that matches where your order is. Most promo buyers book a mid-production check plus a final random inspection.
Confirm materials, colors, and print setup on the first units before the bulk run starts.

These are the problems that show up again and again in promotional orders. Each one is photographed and listed in your report.
You set the AQL limits when booking. The inspector counts defects against them, so the result is a number, not an opinion.
Anything unsafe or against import rules — a sharp edge on a metal bottle opener, a banned substance, a missing choking-hazard warning on a kids' giveaway. One critical defect fails the lot.
AQL 0Anything that makes the item unusable or unsellable — a logo in the wrong color, a mug that leaks, a USB drive that does not work.
AQL 2.5Small flaws most buyers accept in low numbers — a light scratch, a slightly loose thread, a faint shade difference on a print.
AQL 4.0
No package tiers and no hidden line items. You get one written price before anything is booked.
One inspector, one day at the factory covers most mixed promo orders. Bigger orders get a clear multi-day plan in the quote.
The written quote is the final price. Nothing is added later — not travel, not weekend work.
Send the PO and artwork, and the plan and price usually come back the same working day.
If the lot fails and the factory reworks, the follow-up visit is quoted per man-day again — you approve it before we go.
You have never seen their bulk work. The inspection is your proof before the balance payment leaves your account.
Last shipment had print problems. This time someone checks the goods before they move, not after they arrive.
Trade show, product launch, client gifts. Late or defective stock has zero value, so the check happens at the factory.
They say it is fixed. A re-inspection confirms it before you release payment.
Giveaways follow the same import rules as retail products. Chemical screening and supplier checks can run alongside your inspection.

Yes. Most promotional orders mix pens, mugs, bags, and apparel in one shipment. We sample each item line against its own spec sheet and artwork, and the report lists results SKU by SKU.
Color is checked against your Pantone references and approved artwork, position and size against your spec, then rub and tape tests confirm the print holds. Every print defect is photographed for the report.
