How Sampling and Defects Are Judged
Random sampling follows ISO 2859-1 / ANSI-ASQ Z1.4 at the level agreed for your order. Defects are grouped in three classes.
AQL 0.0
Critical
Needle fragments, contamination, anything that can injure the end user.
AQL 2.5
Major
Defects a customer would notice and return — open seams, stains, shading.
AQL 4.0
Minor
Small appearance issues inside the agreed tolerance.

Buying Fabric by the Roll?
Before the cutting table, we can inspect the fabric itself with the 4-point system — the same standard fabric mills use. Points are counted by defect length.

We confirm the scope
Production stage, sample plan, checklist and any special tests — fixed with you before the visit.
The inspector goes on site
On site within 48 hours in covered areas, checking the goods against your files.

Defects are shown to the factory on the spot and recorded with photos and measurements.
You receive the report
Findings, measured data and photo evidence — so you decide with facts in hand, not promises.

What a Failed Check Looks Like in Practice
A recent textile order, recorded in our case file.
The Finding
On a children's printed T-shirt order, the print area failed the wet-rubbing colorfastness check — color transferred onto the test cloth.
The Factory Action
With the evidence in the report, the factory changed the printing ink and reproduced the affected batch.
The Outcome
A re-inspection was arranged on the reproduced goods, and the new batch passed the same check.
The same applies to printed bedding, curtains and table linen — a rubbing test at the factory costs little, a container of bleeding prints costs a lot.

What home textile products do you inspect?
Bedding, sheets, duvet covers, pillowcases, towels, bathrobes, curtains, tablecloths, napkins, cushion covers, throws, quilts and similar sewn or woven home products. If your product is not listed, send us a photo and we will confirm.
How many pieces do you check?
For random sampling we use ISO 2859-1 / ANSI-ASQ Z1.4 at the inspection level agreed for your order. If you need every piece checked — for example after a failed inspection or for a high-value order — we arrange a 100% full inspection instead.
Can you check fabric weight and colorfastness?
Yes. On site we verify GSM against your spec and run rubbing (crocking) tests on the fabric. Tests that need laboratory equipment, such as washing or light fastness, are coordinated as a separate laboratory service.
What happens if the inspection fails?
You receive a report with defect photos, measurements and classification. You decide whether the factory reworks, sorts or remakes the goods. After rework we can go back and re-inspect the corrected units.
How much does an inspection cost?
Pricing depends on the product, the quantities and the factory location. Send your order details and we quote before you confirm anything — no obligation.
What do you need from me to book?
The product list, quantities, factory address and your target date. If you have a PO, spec sheet, size chart, approved sample photos or label files, send those too — we build the checklist from them.
Who decides whether the goods ship?
You do. We report what we found against your agreed criteria. The pass, rework or hold decision always stays with you.
Can you check the fabric before production starts?
Yes. We can inspect fabric rolls with the 4-point system before cutting, or check the first finished pieces with an initial production inspection. Tell us what stage your order is at and we will suggest the right point.
