Product Scope

Kitchenware we check every week

Cookware — pots, pans, woks, saucepans, baking trays
Tableware & dinnerware — plates, bowls, ceramic and glass sets
Cutlery & kitchen knives — flatware, chef knives, kitchen shears
Drinkware — mugs, cups, bottles, vacuum flasks
Food storage — containers, lunch boxes, jars
Small kitchen appliances — kettles, blenders, coffee makers, with electrical safety checks
Food-contact kitchenware and containers ready for inspection

If it touches food, we know how to check it — and which lab tests your market asks for.

Real Findings

Problems we catch before you pay for them

Loose pot handles. Burrs on a knife rim. Peeling non-stick coating. A missing origin label. Small things at the factory — expensive things once the container lands.

Bad units get flagged on siteDefective pieces are photographed, counted and set aside — you see exactly what failed and how many.

Defect classification critical major minor with AQL values

Every defect gets a severityCritical, major or minor — measured against your AQL, so the pass or fail call is not a gut feeling.

The Real Choice

Shipping blind vs shipping checked

You find out while the goods are still at the factory
A bad lot means returns, chargebacks and bad reviews
An inspection costs a fraction of 1% of order value
You decide on trust and hope
You decide on photos, measurements and an AQL result

One checklist, one lot, one clear answer — every order, every time.

Food-Contact Compliance

Food-contact tests, scoped to your market

There is no single “food grade” certificate. The U.S., the EU, Germany and France all ask for different tests. Tell us the material and where you sell — we review your product details and coordinate the lab work that actually fits.

Plastics & coatingsOverall and specific migration, authorised substances, colourants
Metals & alloysMaterial grade, surface treatment, migration of relevant elements
Ceramic, glass & enamelDecoration, glaze and rim treatment for the intended use
Silicone, rubber & elastomersFormulation, fillers and extractables under repeated use
Paper & boardCoatings, printing inks, adhesives and transfer routes
Wood, bamboo & compositesCoatings, bonding agents and mixed formulations
We record unconfirmed assumptions as unconfirmed — nothing gets treated as verified until the lab says so. More on Food Contact Testing, CA Proposition 65 and RoHS / REACH.

Packing & FBA

Good product, bad carton — still a problem

Plenty of kitchenware arrives fine and still gets refused: crushed cartons, unreadable barcodes, missing warnings. We check the packing side of the order too.

Carton strength, drop-test compliance and inner protection
FNSKU barcodes and polybag warnings for Amazon FBA
Carton weight, dimensions and shipping marks
Assortment and gift-box sets match the packing list
Cartons on pallets and a platform scale in a warehouse packing area

FAQ

Questions buyers ask us

How quickly can an inspector reach my factory?

Once the booking is confirmed, an inspector can be on-site within 48 hours in any China province. There are no extra travel or weekend fees.

How much does a kitchenware inspection cost?

The price depends on the product, the factory location and the scope of checks. You get one all-in quote before booking — typically a fraction of 1% of the order value, with no travel or weekend surcharges added later.

What does the inspection report include?

Photo evidence of findings, quantity and PO verification, a defect list with critical, major and minor classification, measurement and function results, and a clear AQL pass, fail or hold decision. The PDF report is delivered within 24 hours of the inspection.

Which sampling standard is used?

Sampling follows ANSI/ASQ Z1.4 (ISO 2859-1) AQL tables. The sample size and acceptance levels are agreed with you before the inspection, based on your order quantity and quality requirements.

Can you check food-contact compliance for kitchenware?

On site, inspectors verify material declarations, markings and labeling against your specification. For migration and substance testing, UTS coordinates laboratory testing matched to the product material and destination market, including U.S., EU, German and French requirements.

Do you inspect Amazon FBA kitchenware orders?

Yes. The inspection covers FNSKU barcode readability, polybag suffocation warnings, carton weight limits and drop-test compliance, so your inventory passes FBA receiving without refusals.

When in production should the inspection happen?

A Final Random Inspection runs when production is 100% complete and at least 80% packed. To catch defects earlier, an Initial Production Inspection checks materials and first units, and a During Production Inspection runs at 30–50% of production.

Which kitchenware products do you inspect?

Cookware, tableware and dinnerware, cutlery and kitchen knives, drinkware, food storage containers and small kitchen appliances — inspected against your specification, approved sample and destination-market requirements.
